McDougall is an established charity with ambitious vision to influence the growing debates on democracy and especially elections.

This new post will take the principal hands-on developmental role leading McDougall through transition: shaping strategy, building partnerships, securing a broader funding base, raising public profile, and maximising assets, activities and impacts.

We are seeking an experienced Board-level professional, probably from the not-for-profit or academic sector, who is passionate about leading strategic change, familiar with values and requirements of the UK charitable sector, with strong commercial awareness, excellent communications and negotiation skills, knowledge of the democracy sector, experience of research/ publications/ information dissemination. The post is based near Vauxhall stations. We will consider flexible working locations or arrangements such as secondment from a permanent position.
